The patterns on Amanda Ryznar's line of functional handmade pottery are inspired by nature, but even more so by other patterns such as those found on wallpapers and fabrics.
"I am for now a firm believer in function. I love being the person who made someone's very favorite mug, or the vase they will enjoy even without flowers. I believe that life is to be enjoyed and that the objects we bring into our homes and use everyday should reflect that joy in being. Bright colors on pure white porcelain are where I have found my voice in clay." |
